It just keeps getting better! Who would have thought there'd be this many people
coming through
any haunted attraction this early in the season on a Thursday!
That just goes to show Spookywoods' popularity.
Tonight's objective
was to photograph a few characters and try to get a few screams. I
began, once more, at the back of the attraction, photographing the
scenes before opening time. I really wanted a picture of the
spitting toilet, but the water turned out as very fine mist in most
shots--fine enough that one can't tell what it was. I encountered
a few characters as I went through and stopped to photograph them.
You'll notice I have nine pictures of the spider lady. She was
great to work with and most of the pictures turned out well. I
also tried to get a few pictures of customers as they went through.
The following is my list of what else needs photographing: characters
in the coffin room, the prison scene, prison characters, Jumanji
character, and as many customer screams as I can manage.
Aside from that, one important lesson was reinforced during this
shoot: never have the camera's LCD brightness turned all the way up.
The LCD tends to show pictures brighter than normal. I make my
lighting decisions based off what I see on the screen. That meant
many of tonight's pictures were darker than normal.
